Argentines begged Lionel Messi not to quit the national team after its defeat, but his friends said the country has mistreated its greatest footballing asset. The superstar left the field in tears after missing his penalty kick in the Copa America Centenario final shootout against Chile on Sunday. He promptly told reporters he was quitting. "I've done all I can, I've been in four finals and it hurts not to be a champion," Messi said. "It's a hard moment for me and the team, and it's difficult to say, but it's over with the Argentina team." He is widely rated the best player in the world, but people close to Messi complained of how harshly he has been judged in his homeland. "This lad is just saturated with criticism and being so badly treated,he has every right to quit," said Ernesto Vecchio, who was Messi's first coach in his native city of Rosario who now runs the Messi Foundation football school for underprivileged children, told AFP. • Moisturise your nails 
 
 
Use hand cream to not only moisturise your hands, but also your nails. There are many products that protect your nails from drying or splitting, such as rubbing olive oil or almond oil daily. 
Massage the oil or lotion in circular motions until the product is fully absorbed. After washing your hands, rub lotion to soften and avoid cracked or dried.

The Nigerian Army has denied the claim made by a militant group that it is planning to take over the present administration. 
The Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force (JNDLF) issued on Wednesday, June 22 claimed it had been approached by some officers to help overthrow President Muhammadu Buhari. 
Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman who is the spokesperson of the army said this claim is not true. 
He vowed to investigate those spreading the rumour. 
Full statement: 
"The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to another campaign of calumny and distraction by faceless criminal gang of economic saboteurs that hide under the aegis of Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force (JNDLF) alleging that some officers of the Nigerian Army approached them for support to overthrow our duly elected present democratic government. 
This is baseless and most unfortunate allegation that existed in the warped minds of the originators of such weighty allegation. The Nigerian Army wish to state that this is not true and hereby distanced itself from this weighty allegation. 
We also see this speculation as a dangerous distraction to our effort in fighting insurgency and other criminal elements in the country. 
The Nigerian Army would like to send a strong and an unequivocal warning to those speculating a coup by the Nigerian Army (NA) against the Government to desist forthwith. We would like state in clear terms that that we are a product of democracy and a focused professional institution and would have nothing to do with such abomination and heinous crime. 
We wish to state further that the NA is the greatest beneficiary of democracy and therefore cannot ever contemplate any anti-democratic misadventure, certainly not under the command of the present Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai. Rather, we see this type of dangerous speculation as a declaration of war to destabilise the present government by these unscrupulous elements. 
The Nigerian Army is investigating those behind the dangerous insinuation in order to unravel the real motive behind it. 
We would like to reiterate our unalloyed loyalty to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and defence of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We would also like to reaffirm our unconditional support and obedience to civil authority. 
We wish to further assure Nigerians and indeed all peace loving people that the Nigerian Army and indeed its personnel will never be involved in such terrible misadventure. 
We wish to further add that no matter how long it takes, we would track and find out those behind these insinuations and bring them to justice"

All candidates who chose the Rivers State University of Science and Technology during 
the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have received 
notification to that effect from JAMB are hereby requested to take note of the following:- 
i. The screening exercise for admission of candidates will be administered only on 
candidates who chose RSUST and have received notification to that effect from 
JAMB. 
ii Only candidates who scored 180 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation 
Examination (UTME) are qualified for the screening exercise in all the Faculties 
of the University. 
iii. Candidates must possess the basic five (5) O’ level credit passes in accordance 
with the University’s Entry Requirements (Faculty/Departmental) before applying 
for the screening exercise. It is mandatory that Candidates should upload their O 
‘Level results and a scanned copy of their passport photograph. However, 
candidates who are awaiting their O’level results may apply but should so

Hundred (N1, 500.00) Naira for Computer Demonstration Exercise. 
v Candidates are to note that the mode of screening exercise is ELECTRONIC 
and SUBJECTIVE. It is important that candidates practice how to use the 
computer especially the use of mouse and keyboard before they turn up for the 
screening exercise. In addition, the Information Technology Centre (ITC) may be conducting a 1-week demonstration session for candidates prior to the date of 
the screening exercise. 
vi The registration for the screening exercise will start from Monday 13th June, 
2016 and end on Friday 1 
st 
July, 2016. 
SCHEDULE FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE 
The screening exercise will take place from Monday 4th July, 2016 to Tuesday 12th 
July, 2016 at the Information Technology Centre (ITC) of the University. 
Candidates are requested to please note that the screening exercise is as scheduled in 
the screening exercise slip they printed out after their On-line registration. The 
scheduled date, time and venue shall be indicated in the test slip. 
Consideration will not be given to candidates who fail to appear for the screening 
exercise on the scheduled date and time. All candidates for the screening exercise 
are required to come to the Venue with their test slip printed out during the On-line 
registration. 
Candidates should note that GSM phones WILL NOT BE ALLOWED into the hall 
during the screening exercise. 
Parents, Guardians and Well-wishers are advised to stay away from the venue of 
the screening exercise. 
Candidates must report at the test venue one (1) hour before the scheduled time 
on their test slip.

It is important to note that the names of successful candidates for admission shall be
