Usain Bolt has been desperately trying to earn a contract at Central Coast Mariners while on trial but reports have emerged saying that the world's fastest man has a two-year contract on the table from a European club.
The Jamaican made his professional debut as a substitute back in August and a couple months on, in his fast start, he got off the mark in the game by bagging a brace against Macarthur South West United.
His first goal, which was a tidy finish after being played in behind by strike partner Ross McCormack, was followed up by the 32-year old doing his trademark 'Lighting Bolt' pose.
He then made the most of a goalkeeping error and tapped in into an empty net for his second.
It was Bolt's final trial game for Central Coast, yet it seems he already has a potential suitor in Europe. Tony Rallis, who is working as Bolt's agent during his stint in the land down under, spoke to ESPN about the interest.
"There is a club in Europe that has offered Bolt a two-year deal, they have been taken over by new owners who have aspirations of Champions League football," he revealed.
The club is yet to be named, but it is noted that Mariners have links to Sao Paulo, Sheffield United, Ferencvaros in Hungary, Everton and Balzan FC.
Furthermore, Australian outlet the Daily Telegraph have added to the speculation by saying the club is in Southern Europe and that Bolt could even play in their upcoming cup final.
Eurosport have done a bit of detective work and suggested AC Milan as an option because they appear to fit the criteria perfectly - and there's also the fact that their kits are made by Puma, who have been a long-time sponsor of Bolt's.
