Beyoncé and Jay Z have been named as Forbes’ highest-paid celebrity couple in 2016. They have a combined earning accumulating to about $107.5 million this past year with Beyoncé earning $54 million, while Jay Z $53.5 million.
They both benefited from Beyoncé’s sixth No. 1 album,
Lemonade, which debuted exclusively on Jay Z’s Tidal streaming service.
But Beyoncé was able to put herself in the lead of her husband in terms of annual earnings by playing 19 shows in the past one year.
“I’ve never met anyone that works harder than me in my industry,” the singer was noted to Forbes.
According to Forbes, Jay Z gets massive income from his Armand de Brignac champagne, D’Ussé cognac and entertainment company Roc Nation.
